Men’s Sneaker Edit

Having daughters means having boyfriends over … a lot. Thankfully, both our girls have chosen great guys who are so much fun to be around. A nice side benefit to having these guys in our lives is that they both love shoes … maybe as much as me! We have often collaborated on shoes we want, are considering or need to retire! Additionally, each couple has given sneakers as a gift for birthdays or anniversaries. For them, it’s all about the sneaker, and men’s sneakers are prolific. My husband has also benefited from their love of shoes and has become an ON runner collector. I just need to work on some other brands for him to try. So often men of a certain age get comfortable in their wardrobe and don’t feel the need to branch out from the tried and true brands they love. But this blog post is meant to encourage them to check out some new options. Often the technology is better within the sneaker – meaning the comfort level may be better than their old “tried and trues.” Additionally, the color choices are a bit dressier and wearable with jeans or khakis. Oh by the way, how can I not include a few options the younger guys want right now? They may be a bit youthful for men over 50 however, I think they could be a great option for a man who’s looking to up his shoe game. Additionally, they’ve introduced me to a couple of new websites for shoe buying.
